What is Zonta?

Zonta International is a worldwide, nonpartisan and nonsectarian service organization of executives in business and the professions working together in advancing the status of women. Zonta was founded in 1919 in Buffalo, New York, USA. The first european club was founded in Vienna, Austria in 1930 and the first Swedish club was founded in Stockholm in 1935.
